7th International Festival of Theatre for Children (FITTE)~ Tunisia 2018

Sky Bird Puppet Group (Hong Kong) is invited to perform in the “7th International Festival of Theatre for Children 2018” on 15 to 23 December, 2018.

It is an international children festival. The performers come from Tunisia, France, Poland, Italy, Japan and Egypt. It includes puppet show, drama, clown show and music show. It is a good chance to share the theatre fun for the Tunisia children.

We are the only one from Hong Kong (and China). Our show topic is “Chinese Tradition”. Three main Chinese puppet styles are shown. They are string, hand and rod puppet.

The show includes <Monkey King Kung-Fu>, <Monkey Training>, <Little Monk down the Hill> (live singing in Cantonese Opera), <Puppet Fighting>, <Fan Dance> and <String Puppet Party>. Also, the puppeteer demonstrates the control skills and finger practice with the audience. Mr Fai Handsome (Chinese clown) links up the whole show.

In the festival, we perform six shows in different cities including Tunis, Kef and Siliana.
